At the top of the grassy knoll, just behind the WPA pergola, is a spot from where assassination conspiracy buffs allege a mysterious "2nd gunman" shot President Kennedy while standing partly concealed by a board fence. Whether you believe this unproved theory or not, it is certainly easy to see how a concealed sniper would have had a clear view of the presidential motorcade as it went past.

This spot is easily accessible from the Sixth Floor Museum parking lot.
