2010s

2011

n.d.: Glenville Trail opens.

2012

n.d.: Fire Station #4 opens on former Huffhines Park recreation center site.

February 27: A gunman shoots and kills a waiting passenger at the Arapaho DART station, and wounds a police officer and another waiting passenger. After escaping to the Vent-a-Hood warehouse, the gunman died of a possibly self-inflicted gunshot wound.

2013

n.d.: Bob Evans Farms, which bought Owens County Sausage in 1987, closes factory at Spring Creek Farm. Soon after, the factory is demolished.

October 3: New Fire Department Training Center/Emergency Operations Center at 1601 E. Lookout Drive is formally dedicated.

November: Tours of Spring Creek Farms ended.

2017

December: Carrollton-based Standridge Company buys the site of Spring Creek Farm from Ohio-based Bob Evans Farms.

2019

October 1: The City of Richardson begins Main Street improvement project.
