Here's Ida Seay Jenkins (on viewer's right) with her mother, Maggie Inez Ward Seay, in the middle, and Ida's sister, Sydney Seay Copeland, on the viewers's left. It's believed that this photo was taken in 1922, in either Lamar County or Dallas County, Texas and that the baby on Ida's lap is her first child, William Aaron "Jack Jenkins, born June 27, 1922. The child on Sydney's lap is identified as Edith (Copeland), but looks too young to be Edith, who was born in 1919. It is more likely that the largest child is Edith, that the baby on Sydney's lap is her other daughter, Edna (born 1921), but if that's the case, then who is the child on Maggie's lap? One possibility is Mildred Wortham, Nellie Seay Wortham's daughter, born in Paris, Texas in April 1922. Perhaps Nellie took the photo?
