On this block, this building at 119 E. Main is the "odd man out," so to speak, being that unlike the others it does not date back to the late nineteenth or early twentieth centuries. DCAD says it was built in 1912, but that was more likely the structure that was torn down to make way for this one. Known as the Richardson Professional Building, it was erected in 1965. Presently, it houses the offices of George E. Peyrot, Jr. Certified Public Accountant. Below is a portion of a vintage photograph, showing the building that was replaced by the present Richardson Professional Building.
