"Tee Pee" Hill, formerly Roxana Point -- one of the highest points of land surrounding the park, is named for the Texas and Pacific Railway (T.& P.) clubhouse that stood here from 1925 until the 1940s, not, as some people think, because there was an Indian campground here (there wasn't).
Picnic tables and a new childrens' playground, built in 2002 thanks to the generosity of For the Love of the Lake, together make this area a popular spot for families.
At the bottom of the hill is a stone latrine designed by M. A. Burke and built by the Civilian Conservation Corps during the late 1930s or early 1940s.
